At its meeting on 25 April 2022, Wallingford Town Council’s General Purposes Committee overturned the motion. As such, the request from Wallingford Town Council has been withdrawn.

Wallingford Town Council made the request to transfer the area known as Site A from Brightwell-cum-Sotwell parish to Wallingford parish. However, at a meeting of Wallingford Town Council’s General Purposes Committee, held on 25 April 2022, the resolution which approved the request was overturned and the request formally withdrawn. The responses to the engagement were overwhelmingly against the proposal and would therefore be supportive of withdrawing the proposal from this review.
